In their last match of the season, Nakumatt FC will host fellow league debutants Kariobangi Sharks at the Ruaraka Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams boast of strikers who have at one point been in the same battle for the golden boot of the season.

After residing in the leading pack for a long time, Nakumatt's Kepha Aswani lost form at 12 goals, letting Kariobangi's Masoud Juma to rise to his current 16 goals in what is thought to be a finished campaign for this season's highest goal tally.

Both teams did not have a good start to the season with Sharks falling to KPL champions Gor Mahia and Muhoroni Youth in their first two games as Nakumatt succumbed to Bandari and GOtv champions AFC Leopards.

Should 14th placed Nakumatt suffer a defeat, they could sink further down.

Fifth-placed Sharks on the other and are keen on finishing second in case they win and all their rivals for the slot lose their respective games.
