Atheists Society in Kenya has dismissed recent reports that a woman from West Pokot County resurrected after being prayed for by controversial Prophet David Owuor of the Repentance and Holiness Ministry.
It is claimed that the woman, identified as Mama Rosa, came back to life after two hours following the intervention of Prophet Owuor.
Mama Rosa’s husband Samson Rotirakori said he called a senior pastor at the church asking him to request a prayer from Prophet Owuor after the 'death' of his wife.
The self-confessed prophet sent a text message to Rotirakori saying; 'All is well'. The husband said two hours later, his wife suddenly began coughing and sneezing, then asked: “who has brought me back.”
But the President of the society, Harrison Mumia, trashed the 'alleged' miracle and challenged Owour to bring back to life former Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery who died on Saturday morning.
“We are asking Prophet Owuor to resurrect Nkaissery from the dead or forever shut up about his miracles!” Mumia remarked on Monday.
