President Uhuru Keyatta has laughed off the NASA change theme in NASA campaigns.

Discrediting the 'vindu vichenganga' (things are changing) slogan used at NASA rallies, the president said the Opposition is not aimed at bringing any constructive change other than taking the country backwards.

“Ati vindu vinchenjaga. Chenjaga nini? Wakwende, waache maneno yao (They claim things are changing. Changing on what? Let them go away. They should stop saying that),” said Uhuru.

He dismissed NASA leaders as storytellers who have served in government for long without impacting their people positively.

“We are not storytellers. Storytellers are those who have been in government, some for more than 35 years, yet today they tell us mabadiliko (change) on their posters. What change takes us back when we want to move forward?”
