[Photo|COTU-K]Central Organisation of Trade Union (Cotu) has lamented after the government withdrew security detail NASA coalition leader Raila Odinga, and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, Tuesday.Cotu Secretary-General Francis Atwoli termed the move as ill-advised, given that the country is experiencing high political temperatures ahead of October 26, fresh presidential election. He put Acting Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i on spot, saying the government should be responsible, in case anything happens to the two opposition leaders.According to Atwoli, Matiang'i should stop boasting of his powers, given that "he came to the limelight the other day."He asked the CS to respect his elders, and stop being used by self centred leaders."What if Raila becomes president after the October 26 election? Matiang'i should not allow himself to be used by selfish leaders. Let him learn to respect elders and people who took him to school. Raila is a senior leader, having served as Prime Minister. He needs to be treated with respect," said the umbrella workers union boss.Addressing the press during an International Labour Stakeholders forum in Nairobi, Atwoli asked Matiang'i to concentrate on how to secure investors and their property, Thursday.
