President Uhuru Kenyatta has been advised to strategise himself well, if he wants to win in the August 8 elections.

Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu) secretary general Francis Atwoli said Uhuru will have a rough time, winning in the elections, if the Opposition's National Super Alliance (Nasa), remains united.

According to Atwoli, Uhuru must scuttle Nasa, and ensure the coalitions exists no more, so as to win.

If he does not scuttle it, he said Uhuru should rig, so as to win.

"If he wants to win, he must scuttle Nasa. He should ensure all the principals part ways. He should strategise himself fresh. Second, if this fails, he should rig. That's the only way he can win,'' Atwoli said.

According to Atwoli, Nasa was more popular and strong than before. He said Jubilee would not beat Nasa, if the four principals (Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula), remain united.

Speaking on TV interview, the outspoken labour leader indicated votes from the Rift Valley region, which Uhuru boasted about in 2013, were now divided.

"Rift Valley is now divided. It's not a Jubilee region anymore. Insecurity in Baringo proves it. Residents there are tired with the current government. Isaac Rutto too, he parted ways with Jubilee, and he has support. So Jubilee have no chance, if they do not do what I have said,'' Atwoli added.

He was speaking Wednesday.
