COTU secretary General Francis Atwoli has condemed President Uhuru Kenyatta over his remarks about the 2007 post election violence.
This is after Uhuru claimed that Cord leader Raila Odinga played a key role in the violence.
"The pain, sting and agony that innocent Kenyans went through as a result of a disputed election should never be revisited," he said on Thursday in a statement from Geneva, Switzerland.
"The wounds are still fresh and any slight provocation will easily plunge this country into turmoil. Women, children and workers will be affected."
According to Atwoli, it was wrong for the Head of State to evoke memories of the period considering that the country was still healing from the violence.
