Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli on Monday endorsed nominated MP Johnson Sakaja for Nairobi Senator seat.
This is after Sakaja won the Jubilee ticket during last week's nominations.
"I am telling you Sakaja has been raised in my house together with my children. He is my son. I will vote for him, so will his mother, but I am pleading with you Nairobians to please vote for him."
Atwoli was speaking during the Labour Day celebrations at Uhuru Park.
Sakaja will battle it out with ODM's Gabriel Bukachi.
Sakaja garnered 163,448 votes in the Jubilee primaries, while his rival Mutinda Kavemba came a distant second with 33,109.
