Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli has heaped praise on Nairobi governor Mike Sonko for showing dedication towards cleaning up garbage in the city.

While responding to a Facebook video the governor posted of Nairobi garbage collection activities, Atwoli said Sonko has been on the right track since his inauguration.

He termed him a serious leader with vision and likened him to some of the continent's best leaders.

"I have been observing Govenor Sonko's demeanor ever since his inauguration in August and I have concluded that he is a serious leader with vision," he said.

"His hands-on approach is reminiscent of President Magufuli's earlier days. Let me reiterate that being a stakeholder of NASA does not stop me from appreciating revolutionary work. By 2022, Nairobi will be like Geneva," he added.
