[Photo| Courtesy]The Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu), has called for dialogue, between the two top political rivals in the country, citing the current political temperatures.Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli urged handlers of President Uhuru Kenyatta of Jubilee, and his NASA counterpart Raila Odinga, to put away their pride, and allow for talks betweeen the two leaders, with aims to prevent plunging Kenya into political crisis.Addressing the press at Solidarity House, Atwoli released a list of 11 names of veteran politicians, some who are still in government, to meet and find a way of bringing Uhuru and Raila together."When people call for a dialogue it is not a matter of sharing the government. Jubilee and NASA should not be scared. We are appealing to our political leaders to see sense and seek dialogue," said the Unionist, Thursday afternoon.The 11-member team include: Garissa senator Yusuf Haji; his Busia counterpart, former Attorney General Amos Wako; Raila's elder brother former Nominated MP Oburu Odinga; and former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau.Others include: former State House Controller Abraham Kiptanui; Hassan Ole Kamwaro; former Nominated senator Zipporah Kittony; former Labour Minister Philip Masinde; Bwana Sir Jack; former Kitui senator David Musila and former MP Pheobe Asiyo.
