Speaking on Thursday in his Nairobi office, Atwoli said Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba, Funyula's Paul Otuoma and John Walukhe have caused unnecessary tension in the ODM, a plot by the Jubilee government to reduce the vibrant Orange party in the western region.

"Ababu and his team have shown that they are self-seekers and Jubilee projects. They are in bid to destroy their political future and the Mulembe community should reject them from leadership next year," said Atwoli.

This comes a week after Ababu and Otuoma resigned from their positions as secretary general and deputy national vice chairman respectively.

Walukhe also resigned his position as the ODM Bungoma County chairman.

Ababu has said they will soon launch a third force to counter Jubilee and Cord.
