Central Organization of Trade Union (Cotu) secretary general Francis Atwoli warned his critics against threatening his life.
He said he was a respected man, not in Africa, but cross the globe.
Citing threats made to him as he headed the Luhya spokesperson unveiling rally, Atwoli said nobody threatens him and goes scot-free.
''Some people had attempted to threaten me over this rally. They were asking who appointed me to coordinate Luhya spokesman event. They wanted me to drop the plans to make them happy. Who do they think they are? Atwoli can't be maimed or threatened. I am a man of my own,'' he said, Saturday.
He also revealed that Lugari MP Ayub Savula was called by unknown people on phone, and warned that he would be killed if he does not stop supporting some politicians.
"Mr Savula was called and told he would be killed. They will not make it. They think Luhyas can be killed like how they kill others, No!''
He was speaking during the Luhya spokesperson unveiling rally at Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega.
