COTU boss Francis Atwoli and President Uhuru Kenyatta at a past function [Photo/www.kenya-today.com]Central Organisation Trade of Unions (Cotu) secretary general Francis Atwoli has opened up whether he has an interest in vying for the presidency race or not.Speaking during on interview on Citizen TV's JKL show, Atwoli said he cannot offer himself to vie for the country's top seat because Kenyans will profile him."I can't think of running for the presidency race because the day I will offer myself is the day people will know this man is a Luhya. I don't want to go there. I am a nationalist, I love Kenya," said Atwoli, Wednesday."I don't want to be referred to as this man Atwoli is speaking as a Luhya," he added.The COTU boss further noted he can never want to be a deputy president."I can't be a deputy president, that's a job a cannot do because deputy doesn't have a ballot paper. He works on somebody's shoulder to become a deputy," said Atwoli.He also noted running for presidency is not a question of having money or not.
