COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli is set to host Luhya presidential candidates and other western leaders on Saturday.

The meeting is set to be hosted in Kwhisero where the attendants will discuss unity of the Luhya people.

Those expected to attend the meeting include, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula and former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo.

Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale have also been invited.

Confirming the news, Khwisero MP Benjamin Andayi said the leaders will hold talks after presiding over a funds drive at Khwisero Secondary School.

Atwoli has been in the past rallying the Luhya community to support one presidential aspirant from the region in order to have more bargaining power.
