COTU Secretary General is set to reveal the most popular leader in the Luhya Nation.
During an interview with KTN in his office on Wednesday,Atwoli said he has received a report on a research conducted on the same and will reveal the findings in a months time in an event to be held at Masinde Muliro Gardens in Kakamega.
''I have received a report after a research on the most popular leader who can represent the Luhya people in the next Presidential elections and i will be opening it at Masinde Muliro Gardens next month," said Atwoli.
However,Atwoli said that the leaders can as well consult and choose one of them as a representative.
''However,the leaders still have time to consult and decide on one of them and present him to the people.'' He said further saying that in case the leaders fail to agree and carry on with their plans the community will still remain together and support their favorite one.
Former Deputy Premier Musalia Mudavadi and Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula are the most recent leaders from the region to announce their presidential ambition.
