Speaking on Sunday, Mr Atwoli said Matiang'i's reforms in the education sector had helped weed out examination irregularities.
Atwoli said that school principals and teachers no longer engaged in the business of buying marks by colluding with some senior examination officials.
He at the same time asked the President to name the remaining set of Cabinet to lock out lobby groups. He said there was a lot of anxiety among Kenyans.
