COTU Secretary General Francis is now accusing former Western Kenya NASA members who have since decamped to the ruling Jubilee Party, after losing in the August general polls, of selfishness.
Speaking on JKL Wednesday, Atwoli said that they are most likely after state jobs should the UhuRuto side be re-elected.
He also said that they risk having a harder time bouncing back in the next election after failing to pass the loyalty test.
''These are people who are decamping not because the other side has better ideologies but in a bid to secure jobs should it win. They lack principles and are ready to dance to anybody's tune provided that something is guaranteed in return. This is also likely to completely destroy their political career as people no longer believe in them and view them as unreliable individuals,'' said Atwoli.
Leaders who have since pledged allegiance to Jubilee include former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga and former Funyula lawmaker Paul Otuoma who lost to Governor Sospeter Ojaamong in his bid to lead the county with Atwoli maintaining that shock awaits them in their new home.
''Even the President and the Deputy know that they have switched allegiance because they lost. Therefore, they should not expect any good treatment,'' he said.
