[Photo/The Star]Cotu Secretary general Francis Atwoli has added his voice to the matter regarding the presidential petition by sending his message to the seven Supreme judges led by Chief Justice David Maraga. It is barely hours before the nation gets to know the verdict of the Supreme Court regarding the petition and Atwoli has urged justice must be the pillar for Kenya to prosper and also urged the Kenyans to remain peaceful as they await the verdict.

“For this country to prosper...for us to be where we want to be, justice is the pillar. So we expect justice from our competent judges who are handling this issue," said Atwoli.

“Let us wait for the judgment. But above all, my humble appeal to my fellow Kenyans is that we need to continue with our daily work and there should be peace. We need to keep the peace," he added.

He spoke in Mombasa during the Agricultural Society of Kenya that is taking place at Mkomani grounds.
