The Africa Union (AU) has expressed its satisfaction with the measures the Judiciary has taken in preparation for next month’s polls.
The team was speaking at the Supreme Court after meeting with Chief Justice David Maraga.
AU was led by former South Africa President Thabo Mbeki and accompanied by AU Chairman Mr Moussa Faki.
Thy said those dissatisfied with election results should seek arbitration from the courts.
The team said the AU was following the Kenyan elections keenly and stressed the need for strict observation of the law so that the elections can be free and fair
“The Judiciary is doing everything possible to ensure elections are held within constitutional timelines. We are doing our part, the best way we can,” the CJ said.
