On Mar 16, 2016, a woman from Mombasa left tongue wagging after she confessed that she had been sleeping on the same bed with her dad following her mother’s death.
The woman, who was identified as Anik, left Radio Maisha listeners glued on their gadgets as she narrated how she started sleeping with her dad following the demise of her mum.
The then presenters, Alex Mwakideu and Jalang’o, told her there was no problem loving her dad but it was not a good idea to sleep with him on the same bed. The woman said that in her home they do not follow traditions, adding that they live like Westerners.
She also revealed that the father did not marry another woman following her mother’s death. The woman also claimed that the aunts refused to stay with her forcing her to live with her mother.
She later confessed having been sharing the bed with her dad.
“Napenda sana babangu. Sasa shida ni sisi kwetu hatuna kimila. Hatufutilia mambo kama hayo sisi hatuna. Mimi nalala na daddy wangu” she confessed.
The confession elicited mixed reactions from listens.
A good number of listeners faulted the father while others blamed her for the mess.
