Auditor General Edward Ouko is set to be charged over alleged illegal procurement involving his office.
According to Citizen TV, Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission has already concluded investigations into the matter involving close to Sh100 million.
Ouko is alleged to have irregularly procured an audit vault software whose price he is said to have inflated from Sh18 million to Sh100 million.
It is believed that the money was paid in 2013 before the work was conducted.
The software is said to have single sourced something that prompted investigations by EACC.
The new revelations come at a time president Uhuru Kenyatta laughed off Ouko request to have the United states Central Bank be investigated over Eurobond proceeds.
