Presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot has clarified that his decision to concede the August 8 election did not mean that the process was free, fair and credible.
The candidate who finished fifth in the race said that his need to be enjoined in the NASA petition does not mean he is challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's lead.
Through his lawyer Elias Mutuma, Aukot wants NASA's petition against Uhuru's win to help him learn the consequences of failing to comply with the law.
Aukot said he opted to participate in the case after an audit of the election process showed there were a number of anomalies in several areas.
