Third Way Alliance leader Ekuru Aukot now says that he is ready to put the Jubilee government on toes.
Addressing the press after Supreme Court's decision to uphold President Uhuru Kenyatta's October re-election Monday, Aukot who emerged a distant second in the race said that he has all it takes to perfectly perform in that capacity.
''Myself and my party are now ready to take over the responsibility and put the government on toes,'' he said.
Aukot who expressed hopes that the political temperatures will now decrease further hailed the court for its decision.
He said that his side is happy with the ruling as the court has managed to fight off political intimidation and manipulation to boldly arrive at the decision.
''We are pleased with the ruling because the court, for the second time has boldly pronounced itself without paying attention to political players who would like the results to go their way,'' said Aukot who was part of the petition hearing sessions.
