[Thirdway presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot when he appeared on Citizen TV's JKL show on Wednesday. He has exuded confidence in his second bid to presidency saying he is the man to beat. [Citizen Digital]Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot, has 'wished' Nasa leader Raila Odinga well in his 'retirement' from politics saying that 'you have served this country well and maybe it is time you supported another person'.Speaking to Citizen TV's Jeff Koinange Live show on Wednesday, Aukot noted that Kenyans are looking for options outside Jubilee and NASA saying they have polarized and divided the country into 'two equal dangerous halves'."Kenya is gravitating towards a ‘third way’. The so called ‘first’ and ‘second’ ways have already caused Kenyans to suffer and many no longer want to go this slippery route. That is how I am winning next week's election," Aukot who garnered less than 1 percent of total votes cast in the botched August 8 presidential poll, exuded confidence. He said that if the electorates looked at what their best interest would be, they would elect him by 8am on October 26.On the recent happenings at IEBC, he asked the commission chair Wafula Chebukati to stop talking in boardrooms and instead 'come out now and tell Kenyans the mitigation plans he has put in place to deliver free, fair and credible election'."We have entertained mediocrity in our country and that's why I think even the timing of Roselyn Akombe’s resignation was irresponsible and convenient only to herself. She didn't do it for the country. Only mediocres run away from crisis instead of resolving them," added Aukot.
