Garissa County Women Representative hopeful Hon Ebla Europe Sahal has received a major boost in her bid after she was endorsed by the Authaq clan elders together with their Auliyahan counterparts.
Authaq and Auliyahan elders, speaking on Saturday and Sunday respectively at Langera, Fafi in Mbalambala constituencies vowed to support the honorable in her bid to oust the incumbent Shukran Gure, citing Hon Ebla's good track record as the contributing factor to the endorsement.
"Hon Ebla Europe is one of us and since we know her past and what she has done for our people, Let's make sure we all vote for her," said the Chairman of Authaq clan where majority leader inthe National Assembly Aden Duale comes from.
The two clans are the biggest clans in the county and amassing their support is a sure boost for the aspiring Ebla.
''This contest is now properly framed. It is between people relying on the past and people who focus on the future,'' Said Adow Hassan, an Auliyahan elder.
