Nakuru deputy governor Joseph Ruto said this will help to increase the county’s revenue and create transparency.

"‏We want to eliminate corruption in the county,” said Ruto.

Ruto was speaking at the Nakuru Old town hall during an event to mark two years of devolution.

Already the county has begun a pilot project in both Nakuru East and West.

"‏We intend to roll out the same project to Naivasha, Gilgil, Molo, Njoro and Elburgon. We want all residents to enjoy the service delivery,” said Ruto.

He urged residents to always report corruption cases in the county since that is the only way to fight the vice.

"‏We are calling on the people to give us the information so that we can be able to take action against any culprit and hence enhancing service delivery," adds Ruto.

Ruto also cautioned civil servant caught in corruption that they risked being arrested and charged before a court of law

“‏We will not condone any corruption in the county and we will prosecute anyone who seeks to taint our image,” he noted.
