Youths have been advised to avoid being misused by politicians with 8 months to the general election.
According to Walter Nyakundi the business community chairman in Kisii town and also eyeing for Kitutu Central ward seat, the youths have been misused many times by politicians who have self-interest and once they win an election they sideline them.
Speaking to this writer on Tuesday at Kisii town, Walter advised youths to avoid being misused by politicians.
“As we are approaching the next general election I would like to advise my fellow youths to avoid being misused by politicians who want to use them for their political gain,” he said.
He also advised them to vote visionary leaders who can address the challenges facing the youths.
“Let us stop cheap propaganda and go for identification cards which can enable us to have a voting card so that we can elect visionary leaders,” he added.
“Most of the time youths have been accused of being hired by politicians to disrupt meetings of others, it is high time we need to say no to those who want to misuse us,” Nyakundi added.
