Bonchari MP Zebedeo Opore has fired a warning to his rivals on the use of social media, insisting that he won't hesitate to take a warning against those who use it irresponsibly.
Opore, a fierce Jubilee administration supporter further says the median should be used to preach peace among locals ahead of elections.
He is not a stranger to controversy given last year, he ordered arresting of blogger Wesley Onyinkwa, after he allegedly posted defamatory information on social media.
"It is good to appreciate the power of social media but at the same time, we shoul ensure that it is used responsibly," he said.
"I will not hesitate take actions against those who spread falsehood on social media. Let us do mature politics and the best candidate shall carry the day," he added.
Opore joined Jubilee Party last year when Ford People leadership agreed to merge with President Uhuru Kenyatta's party.
