Youths across the country have been urged to focus on development rather than be used by politicians.
According to Pastor Ogentoto Ronald of Matutu PAG church in Gesima ward, youths get the blame whenever something goes wrong, and for that reason should be on the look out.
Addressing the congregation at Matutu PAG church on Sunday, Ogentoto said that it is time for Christians from all denominations to come together and pray for the country.
“Despite the challenges that we are facing as the country, we need to come together and pray for peace and reconciliation which will enable prosper as a united nation,” said Pastor Ogentoto.
He advised youths to avoid being used by politicians, and instead urged them to start up projects which will help them.
“Youths should realise that they are not supposed to be used by politicians, but they are the one who need to use the politician by asking them to help them with projects which will help them to develop,” said Ogentoto.
To leaders and politicians, he challenged them to avoid incitement sentiments which might cause chaos, and instead use peaceful language and preach peace.
