The two have been making public appearances in their development tours, a move which has infuriated the Nakuru gubernatorial aspirant.

In an interview with KTN on Monday, Njoroge accused DP Ruto of diverting his energy to 2022 presidential elections rather that Uhuru’s 2017 re-re-election.

“I am just advising my friend Uhuru to avoid William Ruto in his development tours. He only focuses on his 2022 presidential bid than the task we have ahead in 2017,” said Njoroge.

“I have gone around the country and most people are fed up with Ruto. They link him with all manners of evil, which could be detrimental to Kenyatta’s re-election,” he added.

Njoroge ditched Jubilee Party after Nakuru branch elections were allegedly rigged and joined independence party KANU in preparation for 2017 polls.
