This is the situation of Kenyan pop singer, Avril found herself in after losing her dad to a heart attack. She paid an emotional tribute to her father whom she had earlier described as a loving and caring person.
‘‘Dad I am going to miss you so much but I know you are going to be with me through everything as you always were. I know your spirit will be with us and we will also see it throughout the generations,’’ read the post on the singers Facebook wall.
She, however, expressed how some of her dreams had been shuttered by the loss of her father in a heartfelt message that everyone can relate to.
The ‘nikimuona’ hit maker promised to take in the advice she had received from her father in the future days to become a better person.
