Nyali MP Hezron Awiti has joined the list of Wiper leaders who have endorsed the party's leader Kalonzo Musyoka for presidency in the 2017 polls.
Speaking at Tononoka grounds in Mombasa on Sunday, the Member of Parliament (MP) urged CORD leaders Raila Odinga and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula to back Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka for the coalition's presidential ticket.
"Wiper Party is ready to take over the nation's leadership. It is for this reason that we have endorsed our party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for presidency," he said.
"I call upon our coalition partners Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula to endorse Kalonzo Musyoka for presidency. He is the only sure person who can get Jubilee out of power," he added.
The legislator's remarks were reiterated by Wipers top brass led by Kitui Senator David Musila and Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar.
