Outspoken Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has accepted apology from his Starehe counterpart Charles Njagua’s apology , few days after going physical.
Parliamentary staff separated the two after physical confrontations and they may face Powers and Privileges Committee.
And a day after Njagua apologized; Owino has gladly accepted the apology adding that the incident was unparliamentary
“I have accepted Jaguar’s apology and my Embakasi Central counterpart Benjamin for attacking me in parliament,” he said, in a brief message on Facebook.
“That conduct was unbecoming of Members of Parliament,” he added, just days after being caught on camera’s fighting the August House.
Although the motive of the fight is not known, the MPs were heard exchanging bitterly over Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga’s candidature.
Even though such conformations are rare in parliament, in recent days, MPs have fought over their extremist political persuasions.
