[Photo|citizen digital]Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has reportedly said he is the one who was behind an incident, where bees attacked protesters outside the Supreme Court, Wednesday.During the incident, journalists, police and Jubilee party and NASA protesters were attacked by the bees as Supreme Court judges were issuing a detailed judgement as to why August presidential election was nullified.One person was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital by attendants from St John's Ambulance."Yes I was behind that attack and I did so because the police are partisan. This was the only way to seek justice," Babu said, as reported by Kenyamoja, adding that he came with the bees from a bee farm he owns.Supporters from both Jubilee and Nasa were outside the Supreme Court, and at one point, they nearly clashed.However there was heavy police presence, who ensured no suspicious incidents, using teargas canisters.Earlier on, there were reports that the bees came from a hive, on a pole along Taifa Road. However, blogger Robert Alai had said Babu was the one behind them.
