Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has condoled with families and friends of the Migaa, Sunday morning accident. Through his Twitter handle, Babu Owino wished quick recoveries to the victims who escaped the cruel hands of death. "My prayers and heartfelt condolences goes to the families, close friends and relatives of the victims of Migaa road accident. May their souls rest in peace. For those who are hurt my family wishes you the quickest recovery. God is in control," Babu tweeted. The accident which occurred at around 3:30am on Sunday involved a trailer and a bus which was ferrying passengers from Busia to Nairobi. Four more people succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.Kenyans have called upon the national government and the Ministry of Transport to take proper measures to curb road carnage along the highway including painting of the bumps along the road to avoid emergency braking. National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has called upon drivers to observe road safety measures to avoid the accidents.
