Flamboyant and vocal Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has finally spoken concerning Miguna Miguna’s entry saga at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The fiery Owino is known for picking fights with the Jubilee government legislators including president Uhuru himself.
On his Facebook post, Owino said, ”Miguna MIguna is a solid spirit. He is perhaps the spark this country needs to bring about real change,”
He also added another controversial post, “power is like a pendulum. It keeps on shifting. Positions are constant but the people in them keep changing. Kenya belongs to all and not a few and every Kenyan citizen deserves to be treated with respect. Let us not be reduced to beggars,”
The self-declared NRMKe leader was deported to Canada early February, following his involvement In a controversial swearing in of the veteran NASA leader Raila Odinga on January 30.
At JKIA, he was asked to submit his Canadian passport, which he renounced. Finally, he was asked to board a flight to Dubai which he actually renounced saying that he will go there when dead.
“I am not going anywhere….where is my passport? Where is my luggage? You cannot take me from my country by force,” he said.
