Former Embakasi East Member of Parliament and vocal leader Babu Owino has finally made peace with his colleague Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar.
The two had a nasty confrontation which resulted in a physical fight late last year, after a disagreement that was as a result of the general election.
However, a few days after Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta agreed to work together, the two seem to have followed in their footsteps.
In a photo shared by Babu, he is seen greeting Jaguar at Parliament buildings, saying they have put aside their differences.
“Today I met Hon.Jaguar at parliament and reconciled our differences. Promised to work together to serve the interest of Kenyans,” read the caption on the image.
Their agreement to put aside their differences was welcomed by their supporters, who took to social media to thank them for agreeing to work together.
Owino has had a tumultuous start to life in parliament, including being locked up for insulting the president.
He was again arrested for allegedly assaulting a parking attendant, and it took the intervention of Nairobi Senator Johnstone Sakaja to have him released.
He recently lost his seat after the court ruled that his election was questionable as there were many reported irregularities.
