University of Nairobi Students Organisation (Sonu) chairman Babu Owino has on Thursday been arrested at Kilimani Police station.

Owino has been reportedly arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance at the station. 

The student leader and parliamentary aspirant for Embakasi East had gone to the station to demand the release of controversial businessman Chris Obure who was arrested on Thursday over misuse of firearms at B club Nairobi.
