Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.     [Photo| Courtesy]Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has expressed joy after his former school appeared in top 100 nationally in this year's KCSE.The former SONU chairman hailed Kisumu Boys after it was ranked 94 nationally with mean score of 54.256361, and 4th at the county level."Proud of my former high school appearing in top 100 Nationally. When I was there I’m the only one among other intelligent students who appeared in top 100.The epitome of intelligence is at optimum. Viva Kisumu Boys," said the opposition MP, Thursday.Four schools in Kisumu made it to top 100 schools that performed well nationally in this year's KCSE. They include:1. Maseno School (33 nationally) with mean score of 61.8799852. Kisumu Girls High School (58 nationally) with mean score of 57.7358913. Chemilil Sugar Academy (78 nationally) with mean score of 55.6151594.     Kisumu Boys (94 nationally) with mean score of 54.256361The top students in the county were Winnie Ongiri and Wendy Ondigo.The two from Kisumu Girls High School scored mean grade of A- in the 2017 results released on Wednesday by Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i.
