Stylish Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino on Sunday pleaded with Raila Odinga nominate him to Interior ministry docket once he constitutes cabinet.
A defiant Raila took oath of office on Tuesday, a move that has led to crackdown on alleged conspirators and co-facilitators.
And at Ruaraka rally, a bitter Owino insisted once he takes over as 'minister', he would arrest current minister Fred Matiang'i.
"I am telling Baba (Raila) to appoint me as Interior minister once he constitutes government. I will fully unleash on Matiang'i.
"He has been issuing unconstitutional orders and even arresting us without warrant. I will deal with him once in office," he said.
Although it is not yet clear whether Raila will go on to form government, sources close to NASA insist he will revert to civil disobedience.
Owino, who is serving his second term, has at least found himself beyond bars thrice since August elections.
