[Photo| Courtesy]Following a fist fight between, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and his Starehe counterpart, Charlse Njagua, on Tuesday, Owino has come out to speak about it.The ODM MP now says the Jubilee MP, almost killed him, and that he would have been dead, if he had not defend himself. He said Njagua, alias Jaguar, was planning to end his life during the fight at Parliament Buildings, before several leaders and security team separated them."If I had not defended myself, right now, it would be a different story. Embakasi East residents would be missing their MP and Kenyan citizens would now be mourning," Babu said, adding that Jaguar came with a group of people to eliminate him."The way those people came to me was so strange and weird. They had a group of people that had planned to come and attack me,” added Paul Ongili, a former SONU student leader. He also accused Embakasi Central MP Benjamin Gathiru Mwangi, of working closely with Jaguar, and further condemned the incident.“I would like to condemn the act done by Jaguar and his colleague Mr Gathiru with the contempt it deserves because that is unbecoming conduct from a Member of Parliament."Owino, further indicated, he had forgiven the singer turned MP."I will forgive them as the Bible says. It is my choice not to report them. I am so innocent," he said, Wednesday.
