Controversial Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has yet come out clear on his plans come 2022 days after his parliamentary victory was upheld by the Court of Appeal.

"I will not only vie to be Governor come 2022 but I will be the Nairobi Governor - I am sure because I know my history; from the university, I have been a person who serves people religiously and spirited," said Babu.
Owino also stated that he plans to go for the presidency in 2027 after gubernatorial seat in 2022.
The first time MP also talked more about his wealth and why he has little to reveal about it.
"I will never discuss my wealth. Anyone with any problem in regard to that should go to DCI and EACC," he added.
Finally, Owino also spoke on the leadership of the Nairobi county, where current Governor Mike Sonko has been operating as a lone ranger after his deputy Mr Polycarp Igathe left the office.
"I would give him ideas –for instance, the issue of garbage; devolve the issue of garbage collection to each ward- it will be done perfectly and ensure that you supervise," he said.
