The man who has uttered some infamous words like calling the president a son of a dog is now more nuanced and less aggressive in his posturing.

Maybe it is because his party leader called a truce with the government that he has become less hostile with his comments.

After his win was upheld last week by the appeals court, he decided to hold an interview with one of the biggest TV stations in Kenya where he laid out his action plan.

But one interesting take-away from the interview was the fact that the Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has some things he will never speak about.

And it wasn’t about his family either.

In the interview, the MP said that he was done addressing the issue of his source of wealth and that his focus is on talking about issues that can help Kenyans.

Babu added that if anyone had a problem with his source of wealth they should reach out to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) or the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and have him investigated.

“I’m sorry I’ve discussed the issue of my purported having wealth because I always believe that my true wealth is in heaven. So this idea of the perception that Babu is wealthy I don’t want to discuss it, I will not discuss it, I’ve discussed it severally in this studio. I will not talk about it. My brother I have discussed this severally, I will not discuss it again. If anybody has a problem there is the DCI, there’s the EACC,” he said.

The vocal legislator also took the time to make it clear that he had no intention to buy Wazito Football Club, as was rumored adding that his priority was his constituents.
