Outspoken Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has revealed the other side of controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria while speaking in an interview on NASA tv on Monday.
The first time MP said Kuria is not tribalistic as viewed by a section of Kenyans instead he castigated Kenyans for being tribalistic and spreading ethnic hatred while the politicians themselves are friends.
"Politicians are never that tribal. When we are in parliament we talk well (to each other). Moses Kuria at times I find him in a bar very drunk. I am the one who carries him and takes him to his house. He drinks until he sleeps in a club then when I find him there, I carry him with my security, I take him to his house in Westlands. I have done that. Let him deny that in public. We as politicians don't hate each other," Owino said.
Owino also responded to the controversial Kikuyu song allegedly castigating Kitui governor Charity Ngilu and the Akamba community.Kenya Film Classification and Coordination Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has flagged off the song terming it as hateful.
"The leaders who are in these positions right now will not be there tomorrow. It will be us young people who will lead this nation ahead. But if we ethnicising this nation negatively then we will not have any nation left," said Babu.
