Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has finally revealed how police manhandled him during his recent arrest.
Babu who was speaking during a political radio talk show on Radio Jambo on Tuesday said some of the police officers instructed to arrest him carried him shoulder-high as he tip-toed to the vehicle that awaited nearby.
"Sometimes I wonder what went wrong in Kenya. I saw some of the suspects in the NYS scandal being escorted to court," he said.
"How do you escort a suspect to court? How special are they? I was arrested by rogue police officer in ten vehicles and they numbered about 20. I had not stolen, I was arrested for speaking what did not go well with some people. But the way I was arrested! Some were lifting me using my trouser and belt."
Babu has been arrested several times but the latest happened outside Parliament by Flying Squad officers after he was accused of assaulting a parking attendant in Westlands.
The arrest came after a video went viral showing a person said to be the legislator together with his aides roughing up the parking attendant.
