Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino now says that there is no bad blood between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking to the press in parliament after the President's State Of The Nation speech Wednesday, the lawmaker who had been at loggerheads with both the President and his Jubilee Party noted that he has nothing personal against Uhuru.
The vocal opposition leader said that what stands between them is political difference, basing on their political variations resulting from their different affiliations.
"There are no personal differences between the two of us. What distinguishes us is our political variations," said the young legislator.
Owino has been in the front line in condemning Uhuru's leadership and was recently accused of insulting the head of state.
The controversial leader has as well had problems with a section of Jubilee leaders and was only recently involved in a heated argument with his Starehe counterpart Charles Njagua Kanyi, culminating into a fist fight.
The two have, however, since announced their reconciliation.
He is among the leaders who have fully supported Uhuru's newfound peace and unity calls, a national cohesion pursuit following the recent ceasefire between the head of state and opposition leader Raila Odinga.
