Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has informed his constituents who reached out to him in relation to the National Government Constituency Development Fund bursary that the funds will be released from mid-February to all constituencies in the country.
Through a Facebook post on Saturday, Owino noted that the current existing bursaries were being awarded by various county governments through MCAs.
The ODM MP while noting that there are bright students from his constituency who deserve the aforementioned bursary, said he will not disappoint them once the funds are disbursed.
"I would love to inform hundreds of my constituents who have reached out to me in relation to National Government Constituency Development Fund bursary that the funds will be released from mid-February to all constituencies in the country," he said.
"The existing bursaries as of today are awarded by various county governments through MCAs. I'm aware of bright students from Embakasi East who deserve the aforementioned bursary and I will not let them down once the funds are disbursed. God bless Embakasi East, God bless Kenya," he added.
