There was slight drama at JKIA as firebrand Embakasi East legislator was caught up in a standoff with armed GSU officers.
Trouble started when the officers tried to shoo Babu and Miguna's lawyers from a certain area provoking the former student leader's anger.
''They are lawyers and I am a lawyer. What is the problem? What law are we breaking? Don't try to intimidate us because you have guns! Who has sent you to come here and move us? OPen the doors for us to see Miguna,'' a visibly angry Babu tells the GSU officers.
Within no time another contingent of armed officers arrives in a lorry while shouting for the MP and lawyers to move.
Babu confirmed the incident on his social media page.
''Today I went to be in solidarity with Miguna Miguna and was denied access, GSU officers deployed to chase me fro the airport which is in my constituency. I fear nothing, Kenya has become a police state,'' he posted on Twitter.
