Embakasi East MP Babu Owino is set to be arraigned a second time today Thursday.
Owino will be facing fresh charges of causing grievous bodily harm to a voter during August 8 polls.
Babu will also face an election-related charge which he allegedly committed in the campaign period in his area.
He was re-arrested yesterday after being released on a Sh500,000 cash bail in his subversion case that involved insulting the President and incitement.
The first-time MP spent his night in Pangani police cells.
National Cohesion and Integration Commission has however ruled out charging him saying his alleged actions do not fall under them.
"We have heard and received complaints about Babu Owino...this does not fall under the Cohesion Act but under the penal code," Commissioner Joseph Onsongo said on Monday.
