Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has threatened to lead students to demonstrate against police brutality.
Speaking on his Facebook page on Friday, Babu said he would mobilise the students to the offices of IG Joseph Boinnet and frogmarch him for failing to reign over his police officers.
"I will personally lead a mega demonstration to frog march the rogue IG from his office for torturing comrades," he said.
This comes following a spate of goring attacks on students at the University of Nairobi by people said to be police officers.
There were videos and photos showing the students being beaten by people in uniform, with some of the victims seen to sustain serious head injuries and bleed excessively.
