Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino says President Uhuru Kenyatta should apologize to Kenyans following his ‘nasty’ remarks targeting the judiciary.
For the last one week, Uhuru has come under immense criticism from a section of Kenyans following his rants on Supreme Court judges who nullified his victory.
And at Mlolongo on Friday, a tough speaking Owino accused Kenyatta of allegedly consuming prohibited drugs before making public speeches.
“I want to warn Uhuru that we cannot allow him to disrespect Kenyans by abusing them openly. He should not take illicit brew carelessly.
“I am advising him not to take raw marijuana. He should dry it first because it is dangerous. It is time for him to behave properly,” he added.
His remarks may not be received well by the state and he may be in trouble just like a Kisii MCA who was arrested in 2015 for making similar utterances.
Having played student politics for many years, Owino becomes one of few student leaders to ever win an elective seat in the country.
